Questions

Does the print need a QR code?

No. The phone recognises the picture itself. Open scanplay.in, tap Play a photo and point at the print. A QR is optional.

Do people need an app?

No. It works in the phone's browser on Android and iPhone. There is also a free ScanPlay app on Google Play for those who prefer it.

Do I pay for every printed copy?

No. You pay once per photo design + video. Print that design 1,000 times and every copy plays at no extra cost - scans are unlimited; the photo type only sets how many different phones a month can play it. The Studio shows the credits before you save.

Does it work on very large prints like hoardings?

Yes. Any size is recognised as long as the phone can see the whole design clearly — from a passport photo to a billboard.

Can the video be private?

Yes. A photo can be protected with a 6-digit PIN, so only the people you share it with can play it.

Your print isn't on this list? It almost certainly still works — the scanner recognises the picture, not the paper.
