Wedding cards, visiting cards, flex banners and photos in Salem can now play a video. ScanPlay links your video to the printed picture, so anyone who points a phone at it sees the video on the print.
Works everywhere in Salem and the towns around it. Everything runs on the phone, so there is nothing to install and nowhere to visit.
What people in Salem make with ScanPlay
- Packaging and labels: how to use it, recipes and brand stories on the box
- Greeting cards: birthday, festival and thank-you cards with a video message
- Photo albums: wedding and event albums where every photo plays its clip
- Wedding cards that play a video: the couple's pre-wedding shoot or invitation message plays on the printed card
- Visiting cards with a video: shop owners, doctors and agents in Salem introduce themselves, with a Call or WhatsApp button
- Flex banners and hoardings: shop openings, offers and events in Salem play a video on the flex
How it works
- Upload your photo: the picture you will print, like a wedding card, visiting card, poster or flex.
- Add your video: ScanPlay links it to the photo and gives you a QR code to print.
- Point the phone, it plays: scan the QR or open scanplay.in and point the camera at the print. The video plays right on it, with sound.
See it work: one phone shows the photo, the other points the ScanPlay camera at it, and the video plays on the photo. Want to try on a real print? Open the gallery on a computer and point your phone at any photo with Play a photo.
Print it at any shop in Salem
You do not need a special printer. Print your ScanPlay photo at any printing press, flex printer, DTP centre or photo studio in Salem: on paper, card, flex, vinyl or a photo print. The Studio gives you the photo with its QR on it, ready to print.

Questions from Salem
Where can I get AR video printing in Salem?
Make it yourself on scanplay.in in about 2 minutes, then print it at any printing press, flex printer or photo studio in Salem. ScanPlay partners (photographers, event managers and print shops) can also make it for you.
Do people in Salem need an app to watch the video?
No. They scan the ScanPlay QR printed with your photo, or open scanplay.in and tap Play a photo. The camera opens in the phone browser on iPhone and Android and the video plays on the print.

Yes. Tap Try free, add a photo and a video and see it play. You get 2 free credits every day to test; a photo made with free credits plays for 24 hours from its first scan. For prints that keep playing, a personal photo uses 1 credit; business and advertising prints use more.
